View Full Version : Control of physical sensations?

I've been diagnosed with Panic Anxiety, and have recently been getting to grips with cognitive therapy.

I've learnt to block out the catastrophic thoughts and endless spirals of dread, but I cannot ignore the physical sensations related to my panic attacks (e.g: stomach churning). I can only "stand my ground" against the attacks, but cannot end them because of the continuing sensations.

Is there any way to ignore these properly? It's the final step between anxiety and the "real me".
