Doctors Can't agree. I have my trusted psychiatrist who moved 3,000 miles but still takes my calls and my new P doc and they can't agree on time of use for medication.

I have not taken anything for over 20 years but find my self in a 3+ year serious anxiety loop. I have given up and gone on one of the proven, fast acting, non-benzo anxiety medications, Doxepin. It can be taken in tiny doses, is not addicting and does not cause more anxiety on start up.

One doctor says just break the cycle, let the nerves calm down and go off in a week or two. The other one says take it for a year or two.

Has anyone used medications on a short term basis to break the cycle (anxiety loop) and did it work?

Medicine does make difference, if you are mentally strong enough.

Yes, I was on anxiety medicine. I tried quite a few. Stablon Generic Tianeptine worked for me. I took for about two months. I m feeling better after six months. Still some times it comes back but I try not to take it. I would like to say that more you are strong mentally, more you will feel better.

Stablon is available at emedoutlet with discount coupon 5234E and Free Shipping coupon 4848B.

Doxepin is a tricyclic antidepressant similar to elavil. And as such, it CAN be addicting in a manner similar to the SSRIs. However, due to the fact that it was never as widely prescribed as the SSRIs, alot less is known about the frequency of withdrawal symptoms among those discontinuing the medication and the severity of the withdrawal symptoms. But the potential for dependence is there nevertheless. Of course, if you previously took this medication and had no dependency issues, it is quite likely you will not experience any in the future.
