Hello,
I'm doing some research on mental illness because I have some friends that struggle with Generalized Anxiety Disorder, and Bipolar disorder.
I'm not a doctor psychiatrist, counselor, therapist, or psychologist.
I am a pastorial ministry student studying for a degree in Christian Ministry specialized in Pastoral Ministry.
I know that alot of people with mental illness blame God for there problem and are mad at him. I understand your position, I struggle with Epilepsy that isn't completely controlled by medication. I want to break through that belief in the lives of the people that I meet, because I believe that God has dealt with these problems and wants to help people.
I would like to ask some different people to answer the following questions.
1. If you struggle with anxiety, how would you descrie YOUR Anxiety? What are the outward signs. What are the internal signs?
2. If you have experienced a manic state, how would you describe a manic state?
3. If you have experienced a Depressive state, how would you describe it.
I'll pause right here for the moment and wait for some responses, partly because I'm falling asleep.
Rob
