Has anyone successfully switched SSRI's?

Hello. I'm on 40mg Paxil/day. Have been for 10 years with great results. I feel like it has stopped working. Have any of you experienced this and successfully switched meds? Thanks!

My friend likes the new Pristiq.
I know from my friends who take ssri's that they do seem to stop working and they have to switch.
I got tardive from taking Zoloft, so I can't take any ssri's.
Some people are getting permanent tardive in the jaws which causes bruxism or daytime teeth grinding.
I wish I could take ssri's, but now I am terrified to take almost any meds.
I have gotten high cholesterol and horrible weight gain from nearly all depression drugs I have tried.
