Can someone explain 'Brain Zaps'

I've seen 'Brain zaps' mentioned in alot of peoples post as a symptom they experience.

Can anyone who experiencences Brains Zaps please explain to me how they feel / what sensations they have ?

For me it feels like my head is vibrating and I get dizzy from it. I have had mor shapr shooting ones as well that feel like my brain is going to explode. Its veery difficult to describe actually but thats the best I can do. It really feels like you have an electrical current running through your brain for brief moments.

Usually caused by medications - especially SSRI's
