I live in rural Indiana with my hub and two sons. I'm 33 years old. I'm a writer and the editor of an underground literature zine.

I had an anxiety attack last Thursday while driving my sons home from a visit to a friend's house. I had another on Sunday morning while playing mass. Both times I had heart palpitations and passed out. I was taken to the hospital on Thursday and everything checked out. My pulse was 94 and blood pressure never rose above 128/80, but inside, I felt like I was having a heart attack and went completely numb.

I had a full blood panel and there were no signs of abnormalities. My doc and the ER doc both believe I've had anxiety attacks, yet I'm unsure why.

I'm hoping to learn something here about what's happening to my body and why I'm having difficulty.

If this is your first couple of panic attacks and the rest of your life is pretty stable, your chances of a fast cure is excellent. I would say just go on the internet and get Panic Away or some other basic cure, follow instructions and you'll be fine.

Your panic attack is just something that went wrong with the part of the brain that handles reflexes, habits. It can be easily reset for someone like you who hasn't suffered anxiety for many many years. Just don't go on drugs! You don't need it for something that happened so recently.
