Hi,

I would suggest you look in your phone book under PSYCHOLOGISTS and then call the ones listed and ask for a Therapist who specializes in COGNITIVE BEHAVORIAL THERAPY for the specific anxiety disorder that you have.

This will be of great help to you, I think.

I have been taking CBT and it is freeing to understand the physiology behind the symptoms and if you are committed to helping yourself, you will learn some great tools.

I've been using some CDs that use CBT methods. I got them from http://www.overcominganxiety.co.uk and they have some really good techniques on. They were only £60 (don't know what that would be in Australian dollars, but that would be the price of 2 sessions with a therapist if that.

The CDs have helped me reduce my anxiety symptoms and recognise triggers.
