Hi everyone,

I just joined yesterday and have found everyone's post and all the info incredibly informative and helpful, but the biggest thing is that I know Im not alone, Im not a freak or a Monster or some kind of mutant that belongs somewhere off in a deserted Island. I hate it that we have difficulties but its good to know that we are not alone and we can share information and our feelings and that alone helps tremendously especially when you feel like you cant really talk to anyone that understands except for your Therapist and really how much can one get done in a 45 minute session once a week!

It would be great if the chat sessions were to begin, I went on it several times yesterday but no one was there, I think it would be very theraputic to have chat.

Again Im so happy I found this place! Thanks for making this happen, we all need this very much!

Stay well and strong,
Elizabeth

Welcome!

Its amazing how many people are in the same situations, that alone was something that always made me feel better. You can feel like the only one in the world that struggles it when realistically its soooooooooo common!

Hiya! I thought I'd Say hello as I'm new to this forum. Good to read peoples first messages like yours.

From the age of 14 - 18 I smoked a lot of cannabis. I finally hit rock bottom after what was intense fearful anxiety towards anything I thought of, or looked at, split personalities forming, sever memory loss and general brain dysfunction. You probably have experienced such, or similar, debilitating brain/mind function.

Anyway, I am now 23 and I feel I put myself through a terrible nightmare experiment. All I want to say is, if I can give you any advice or answer any questions you have, it would be an honour to aid somebody who still suffers from any of the things that come with anxiety. Also, I’d like to take your wisdom away with me to.
