Anxiety certainly does make you think this way. i can relate to this in two ways, firstly i have Tinnitus, and that in itself is a very Tiresome condition, people like us never get any real peace and quiet, the best we can hope for is distraction. :? Secondly i have a two year old son, and i worry constantly about him, first it was cot death, then it was all the injection they give our kids for immunity, then theres the swine flu, and on it goes.... I have three older daughters in their twenties, and i never used to worry like this over them, so yes i do believe that anxiety causes a lot of this, or most of it really. we have a worry head on us, and that reflects to everything we do. you should never feel ashamed though, what you are doing is part of the illness and is showing you, what a good protective mum you are, its just that parent who dont suffer anxiety have a natural stop to the worry and are capable of putting it in the back of their minds, where we dont when we suffer anxiety.
