View Full Version : Pressure in bridge of nose while relaxing
The last week (and especially the last few days) I've been experiencing more-or-less constant derealization. I am finding that the relaxation techniques that I have been using to combat anxiety (meditation, breathing exercizes, etc) aren't really working at the momement. Whenever I start to relax I get an intense build up of pressure in the bridge of my nose. It is very peculiar. Once I stop the relaxation exercise, the pressure goes away usually within 30 seconds. Has anyone else experienced this?

Try to figure out exactly what is causing it. Sometimes you can get a tingling sensation in your forehead area if you close your eyes and concentrate on one thing, such as the tip of your nose. Try to relax and see if it happens when your eyes are open, or when they are focusing on different things...
It happens whenever I try to focus on the present. Eg. focussing on breathing, sounds, sensations, muscle relaxations, etc.
