Ok im 17 years old and ive been to all kinds of doctors therapists pychiatrists all that stuff. i have adhd, add, bipolar,Bad anxiety, little bit of depression and my life overall sucks because of this anxiety. i cannot drive a car, it takes me forever to pee,i get nervous and worry all the time. I love football i love boxing and fighting and all kinds of physical stuff but of course i cant do anything that i like because of my anxiety. i have anxiety attacks all the time and its terrible.
Ive been on the following medications:Buspar, concerta, vyvanse, seroquel, zolof t,lexapro, adderall, and a few others. Concerta works great but it increases my anxiety and im worried about it screwing up my growth. ive heard that xanax and klonopin and valium and many others work great but they are all benzos. my current doctor put me on buspar and zoloft and lexapro and they dont do anything at all..except possibly increase my anxiety. this is killing my life. please help me with suggestions.

Hello!! Just continue the medications given by your psychiatrist. You can get rid of anxiety symptoms sooner and you must get involved in sports activities like football which you like. Let the anxiety thoughts be there, just ignore the thoughts or just say to yourself "I am peaceful and happy." You should attend some meditation sessions or stress management sessions. You will feel relaxed when you meditate. God is with you.

The most important thing is that you try to be aware of what you are experiencing. Ive noticed that when I am feeling anxiety and not aware of what it is, It is pretty terrible, but as soon as it clicks in my head "oh this is just anxiety", it starts to get better from there. I mean it's still there but it decreases slowly until it's gone.
I would seriously suggest some meditation, just a very simple and short, maybe 5 minutes a day. Find a quiet place and just sit and follow your breath. Very simple and easy. You'll think about things of course, but when you realize your thinking, you just come back to your breath. This is good awareness practice for when anxiety comes up. Then you can be aware of the anxiety and watch it pass. It gives you a little edge over it at least.
Don't forget also that there are SO many people who feel like this, anxious, like you do...it's not weird or crazy, just something us modern humans have to deal with.

It's really unfortunate how the solution to just about everything is usually drugs. What doctors fail to understand is that not everyone with a problem needs it.
But I digress..
Hang in there, buddy!

obviously meds aren't working for you - you've tried just about everything without results (and you're only 17!). Time to change the plan.
In some ways anxiety can become habit, a habit of thought. It's not easy, but it is possible to change those habits. A great book showing how mental effort can actually rewire the brain (it changes on PET scans) is The Mind and the Brain. I think the author is Jeffrey Schwartz. He did his research with recessive compulsive disorder, but it gave me hope to deal with anxiety.
Another technique that i read about to help with depression but also applies to anxiety is the "green frog" thought control method. If you have depressed or anxious thoughts, refuse to think them. Instead, like a mantra, bring your mind back to a nonsense phrase like green frog.
If you can find a therapist to teach you cognitive restructuring, that can really help. You can also try some of the online training available now

The main thing is that it's pretty clear that the answer isn't going to be in trying another medication alone.
Your interest in sports is great and could help. Joining a team my be too hard, but do you think you could do something like work out with a boxing coach?
