I have been on klonopin .50 for 3 1/2 weeks. I am getting conflicting stories about whether I have to wean off or could just quit since it was only for 3 weeks. Any advice would help.

Thanks

3.5 weeks at .5mg per day doesn't sound like much to me. You could probably just quit cold turkey. But if you experience withdrawal, you can always try a taper. Just keep in mind that there is a good possibility that, at this dosage level and duration of use, any 'withdrawal' might be more the result of fear of withdrawal than actual withdrawal. But even if you end up tapering just to ease this fear, that's okay. The most important thing here is getting off klonopin. If it takes a couple of weeks, that's okay.
