New to Meds & Have Questions, any help is appreciated!

Hi - I'm new to this forum and new to taking Citalopram (generic Celexa) 10mg. I've had anxiety for over a year and was just diagnosed a couple weeks ago. I have alot of questions. I was very nervous to start this med and I'm on day 5 and had some of the normal side effects (headaches, heightened anxiety, difficulty sleeping) but I wanted to know:

- Has anyone has experienced a cough or a heavy chest after taking this med?
- I also have this horrible tightness in my upper back and have the yawns like crazy and feel like I can't get a deep breath... anyone else have this?
- I also have tendenitous in my shoulder and this med seems to have flared it up??
- Has anyone lost weight? I'm down 4lbs in 5 days without trying.

I've read that the SE's take a while to settle down but I've not seen any of the above and would appreciate your comments.

Also, my doctor says I will probably be on this for a few months. Are there any issues with being on this med for so long? I'm not a fan of taking something every day but I needed something as anxiety was becoming a daily issue. However, I'm hoping this won't be a life long necessity. And do you go through withdraw when coming off?
