 So I have been takin zoloft for 3 weeks wensday for anxiety/panic and ocd and depression. The first week half of 25mg the secon week a whole 25mg and now on 50mg. I am now scared my heart rate is to low. It runs in the range of 90's usually but has been in the 70's. I did stop ALL caffeine use in September. I am Phobic of medications so EVERY little side effect bothers me and I get freaked out and that add's on to the anxiety :-( . So now I am constantly feeling my pulse and its freaking me out a bit. I am going to say something to the doctor. But I just want someone elses input in the mean time. Is it the anxiety or the meds???
please...

It could well be your medication but it's still well within the normal range so I wouldn't be too concerned. And in fact a pulse in the 70's rather than above 90 is healthier, so your body is on the right track ;)

I agree that sounds like a positive development!

In general though you need to try to stop monitoring your symptoms so closely, monitoring only makes them worse. If you notice a change in your heart rate, you should note it down to raise with your Dr then try to forget it.
