strange lump in throat

has anyone felt a lump at the back of their throat? the doctors say its stress

yea i get this when im anticipating an event that makes me anxious e.g a job intervew, a night out or anything that makes me nervous.

What scares me the most is that I've had this mysterious lump feeling for about 5 days. I feel scared. My doctor said it is nothing - that it's a spasm caused by stress and acid reflux. He gave me some meds for it and brushed me off. Is this all in my head? Have you ever heard of this cronic lump feeling?

It'll stay there as long as you worry about it. When you stop worrying about it. It will go away.
