A long distance relationship is hurting me...

I have always felt that being away form my better half is one of the biggest reason for my anxious and awkward behavior. I have no one to talk to when I feel the need of most intimate person to be with me.
We do talk on phones a lot but that is nothing like being with her.
Any suggestions regarding how to cope up with it...
