Hey just a quick question
Ive recently been to my doctor about my anxiety problem i told him i was having palpations plus other symptoms. He did blood tests which came back clear. Then he said he wanted me to wear a 24 hour heart monitor.
I am just wondering has anyone else had to wear one for anxiety problem?
Thanks

Hi,

Yes i recently wore one due to problems with a racing heart in the past. They are like a large pager with 3 wires attached to your chest and sides. Not very comfortable as its like having selotape stook to your skin for 24 hours and you can have a shower or a bath.

Funny thing is i managed to work out how to stop mt heart palps and the racing problem way before they gave me this device. I wore it anyway and im still awaiting the results.

So dont worry its just a little unconfortable and you have to write down everything you do throughout the day and night.

They gave me a card to fill out throughout the day.

I would write down when ever you feel your symtoms are more escualted so they can check against the times and your heart rate.

Still waiting for my results, im sure they will be fine :)
