High blood Presure

Has anybody ever experince high blood presure while an anxiety attack? please any advise what to to?

How do you know that your blood pressure is high when you are having an attack?, how do you tell?

Hi there! i worked in cardiology so i knew symptoms of high blood pressure, when i was at my very worst suffering from anxiety attacks i was convinced my blood pressure was going through the roof and had major fears that i was going to have a heart attack i was so convined it was high that i went to A&E where a doctor checked it and said it was only slightly high but absoulty nothing to worry about he checked me over throughly and said i was just stressed, me being me i wanted a second opinion as i was convinced i was going to die i went to see my gp and i had got myself so worked up in the waiting room i thought my head or heart would explode! when i went inside to see him i sat down told him i was suffering from high blood pressure because i could feel it! he took my blood pressure and showed me the reading and it was perfect he even took it again to show me! i had an imediate feeling of relife wash over me and i just burst into tears and begged him to help me i honsetly felt i couldnt go on, he subcribed me diazipam to help me sleep witch did help alot but it helped me more reminding myself that my blood pressure was not high when i felt at my worst!

My uncle who is a heart specialist checked me when I was feeling really low and said that its all in the mind, my heart was okay. What he meant was that my blood pressure was average.
