Hello everyone im 24/f new to this site, seems like a nice place to share our stories and realize that were not alone in the anxiety ><

My problems with it started in the early part of this year, i had what i thought was something like a heart attack, ran to the dr. only for them to tell me "relax, its a panic attack" I hate when people say, dont worry, you'll be ok etc i wish i could lol..

Basically i worry about everything, friends, loved ones i worry about bad things happening to them i worry about my health the most i've thought i had hiv, gout, brain tumors, cancer etc. just today i bumbped my head getting into the car and right away i think omg its a concussion even though i felt fine no spymptoms, but then the more i thought about it, its almost like i was convicing myself something awful would happen and that i was getting a headache >< called the dr. he bascially said "well you dont have this this or this, your probally ok" i felt kinda silly but im still worrying -.- i worry about my future and my lond distance realationship too, i worry that his plane will crash etc when he comes to visit again which i know is silly but i cant stop thinkning bad things i guess =(

Hi Stumbs - have you considered Cognitive Behavioral Therapy? A lot of psychologists can help you with this. I am doing this at the moment, where you identify thoughts that lead to negative feelings, and then work to correct these thoughts. I recommend it as it's helped me a great deal in the last couple of weeks
