New to forum, but not new to anxiety. I never feel emotionally or mentally anxious, but I have chalked up my physical symptoms over the last few years to be anxiety. Even wound up in hospital for a few days 2 years ago for rapid heart rate that wouldn't slow down.
Most of my symptoms are chronic - daily...... Can you pls let me know if you think these ailments could be due to anxiety? I don't know whether or not to be concerned and have already had a few medical tests resulting in normal results.
1. sore joints in back and hips, vertebrae
2. bouts of nausea and dizziness that can last for weeks
3. stomach is always hard to touch and very bloated every morning. bloated at night. Painful to touch around lower left abdo/pelvis.
4. Once in a while I will get itchy bumps sporadically on my body. They itchy and then quickly break into an open sore in the middle. They itch one day and then start to heal. Very strange.
I know anxiety can cause a number of different body symptoms, but has anyone had experience with these or similar symptoms?
It's very stressful to deal with this as anxiety, as I don't feel like a weak or anxious person. I feel quite at ease and together! Can anxiety wreak havoc on your body while you feel no stress in your brain?
Thanks for any insight!
