I have to admit I am really struggling with this of late. I have not had much luck looking for online social guidance in the way of forums dedicated to this disorder. There is 'Overeaters Anonymous' which seems to be a great service. My issue is that I am unable to find social interaction in the same way we get in here. I am not of the type to spend money on such help when for me, I know online contact with other sufferers is just as helpful. Actually, I find it helps more. As for the associated Facebooks sites to such services, I regard them more advertising platforms that again lack in the ability to connect, that is enabled in forums like these. If you can find a dedicated forum on the subject ... please DO let me know. That would be a HUGE help to me & possibly others.

In the mean time I have made this post hoping that those of you in this forum that might relate, would consider coming forward if not to simply acknowledge this condition but also share one's own struggles with overeating; especially combined with compulsive traits. I know that many in here have attested to under-eating ... but what I really need help with, is the topic of eating too much, too often and how this relates to compulsive/anxiety issues. I assume depression plays a big part?

I suspect that I am not the only one?

How about it, anyone else suffer with this debilitating condition?

Yes ... over eating is over eating, no matter what food.
