I noticed that prior to catching a cold this past weekend I was on vacation and had no anxiety at all. Since coming back I had a running nose and cough so I took some cold meds and I started having anxiety.

Tingling in the face, sore chest, acid reflux, etc...

Could it be the meds that caused this?

Decongestants like pseudoephedrine are stimulants, and can aggravate anxiety disorder. So it is entirely possible that taking cold medication could have aggravated your anxiety. For this reason, it is probably best to stay away from most cold medications if you suffer from anxiety disorder (plus they can actually prolong a cold vs not taking anything).
