I was on antidepressants for about 3 years and changed my life. I been off of them for a year now and doing much better with stress, anxiety and depression but not totally normal. I started taking 5-htp with amazing results. Coworkers see a positive change in my mood and behaviors, I sleep well, and have overall better quality of life. Works better than xanax too. I just take 50 to 100 mg at night before bed. First day I was out of it for the day but then after no side affects. I forgot to tak elast night and I had insomnia sadly all night :( good thing I do not have to go to work sunday
