high pitch sound in my head

anybody has experience this too? Since some time I can hear pretty much all the time high pitch sound in my head, more on the left side but it doesn't seem like coming from ear. Is is sound of going nuts?

Yes! I hear it also.

Not so much in my head, but in my ears.
It's the same sound you'd hear after being too close to a firework going off, or a loud concert, just not as loud/intense.

Don't worry at all, you're not going insane.
I can remember hearing that noise as far back as around 3rd grade, and I'm sane! (well, mostly :roll: )
