I have had a couple of these in my life so far. I am almost 30.
I had a CT scan of my head way back in 2007
Another CT scan of my abdomen/pelvis in 2010 cause I needed to get my appendix out
And one MRI of my head just recently because I was getting frequent headaches.
I have heard a lot about these scans and the possible health risks associated with them. The majority of what I have heard is that MRIs do not even use radiation, so they are in fact safer than Ct scans which, if not done excessively, do not pose any significant risk either.
First off how many MRI's/CT scans have you had?
And
What does excessive scans mean? Like is it 1 a year? one per month? multiple in a month? etc....
