It's getting better, when I first wake up my mind seems to be calm and when I'm awake and the mind starts working more that's when the anxiety gets worse and worse. I actually drove twice in the last week. Earlier to get some food and some other stuff but it wasn't that far away from where I live. But it's more like my eyes are tired and plays tricks on me when I think about doing certain stuff. I'm trying to drive more each day because I'm moving to a different place at the end of September. Is their any advice for fatigued eyes when I'm awake even when I sleep for 8 hours for the night I wake up tired and worn out especially when I have to work that day. I have the day off today and I actually turned my phone off and I'm just on my laptop handling some business. Any and all advice would be helpful. Especially about the driving situation and the fatigued eyes.

Hi again Wayne :)
It sounds like you're in the "depression" phase of anxiety, which is when you've been on high alert for so long you're basically worn out. Just try and get as much rest as you can and take it easy.
I've driven a fair bit - I'm Australian and it takes at least ten hours from one capital city to another! I've done 800kms in one go a few times over the last few years and what helps me is music (and singing), cool air and water on my face, and stopping for exercise at least once every couple of hours. Something to keep in mind when scared of driving is that it uses a different part of your brain than your conscious thinking ie. it's automatic once you learn. It's something I've had terrible panic attacks doing and I haven't caused an accident in 20 years of having my licence (touch wood).
Cheers,
Gypsy x
