Hello,
I am here looking for some support/advice on some things I've been dealing with for a while. Anxiety, Paranoia, and fear have kind of ruled my life for the past decade or so. I've been on several types of medication and am currently on some benzodiazapenes. I don't really know where to start in this process, but I don't want to just take a pill to mask what goes on in my head. I have been "diagnosed" I guess, but I am not sure what is a diagnosis or what is a ploy to continue therapy or sell medication, make money, etc. The medication has helped a lot with physical symptoms and slowed my thoughts down enough to approach them some what rationally, but I would like to learn some better coping mechanisms and I haven't gotten much help there from therapy and such. I guess it boils down to a few questions if I should continue seeking therapy until it sticks or will prolonged use of medication help me cope better or idk? I just don't want to feel how I have been feeling.

Welcome to the forum. I think a combination of therapy and medication may work best for you. Just give it some time as it may take a bit for you to feel better still and be on the road to recovery.
