Hello Forum! I have been a sufferer of anxiety and depression for over ten years now (that I can remember). I had some life events during those times which has made it worse and almost uncontrollable. I have tried all kinds of therapies, hypnosis, meditation, biofeedback, natural remedies, diet change, and pharmacology. I can honestly say, I feel like I have been put through the ringer with all of these therapies and cannot seem to find anything that helps me. Quite honestly, I am tired and my body cannot take much more of this abuse. I function in a normal daily setting, and enjoy the work I do. My struggles come on my days off, when I am home alone, where I lose all ambition of leaving my house (I am divorced x 2 years). I have a great family and small circle of friends, but I try not to burden them with the specifics of this. I decided to try this forum to see if I can connect with folks of similar issues and for some guidance. I am currently working on maybe (MAYBE) switching my meds, but that in itself gives me anxiety. Thank you all for your anticipated support!

Hi motojjp and welcome :)

I hope you find something on this forum that helps. Nearly everything happens in the General Discussion area so take a look there. When I first joined I just read posts for a year whenever I was really anxious and that alone was helpful.
