Hello everybody,

Just found this site. I've been struggling with social anxiety all my life. I'm 42 now and have finally started to break free from it. It's been a long journey, and I'm willing to share my experience with anyone who's going through the same thing. I wish I could talk to my younger self and advice me on how to think and how to overcome all the social obstacles, but since that's impossible I thought I can at least help other people out. Anyway, I live in Sweden and am looking forward to participate in this well needed forum.

Welcome again Spider :)

Yeah, I hear you on that one (wishing we could go back and talk to our younger self ), but we must think about the future; easier said than done sometimes I know that.

Someone here saw I was a Tool fan and pointed out this song. It's about the singer's mum ending up in a coma when he was 11yo but it's also very relevant to working with our inner child. Powerful stuff:

hi. I noticed we get quite a few new members from Sweden. I think it is the most popular country outside the Anglosphere. I wonder if it might have something to do with the long nights in the winter time or maybe the stereotype of the way Swedish people are supposed to look and act.

Anyways, welcome and hello. Thank you for your comments on the other threads.
