Hello everyone,

I completed my Paroxetine reduced withdrawl 6 weeks ago after taking 20mg for depression for 17 years. The withdrawal was horrendous, the worst aspect being the continual nausea, although this lessened a bit. Over the past 2 weeks I have become increasingly very anxious and in the last 3 days have resorted to taking 2.5 mg of the drug again. I'm nauseous again but also frantically hungry. Just wondered if anyone else on here has had a similar experience?

When I was weening of gabapentin I took sweet 10 weeks, Had only little of withdrawal issues. Paroxetine is a son of a gun to quit, most AD are. 17 years are a long time,,,,, very long, oh you are taking it again. when I could years ago be on AD first time ( about a year on it) it was very effective then I weened off and two or three years later I had tough time and tried it again, Did not work and could not take any AD anymore. I had developed awful side effects. The only thing I could take was gabapentin. I am pretty old so maybe this is why my intolerance for the drug. I think rapid withdrawing which took 6 week in my opinion it was too fast, caused all that awful feelings
