Scared my heart will stop when I fall asleep

When I go to bed I often sense my heartbeat. Once I lose focus on it, I go into panic mode and quickly check my pulse to see if it's there! This happens like 3 or more times during my sleep which is annoying and terrifying, it feels like I'm about to die! I know that my heart is fine and that I should ignore it because it's just an anxiety disorder, but I can't convince my brain this lol. Is there a specific name for this anxiety disorder? Anyone had the same problem? What helped you?
