Bleeding from tooth extractions

Hello I got 2 wisdom teeth pulled out today at 1pm and is 11 now in my time zone but my teeth are still bleeding? I'm sorta freaking out because I don't know to stay up all night and watch over the bleeding or go to bed? Thanks everyone. Nervous Christopher

Some bleeding is expected from a procedure like this. If it continues you should return to your dentist to have it checked, just to be safe. I don't want to sound like an alarmist, but my friend's Dad had the same thing happen to him and it turned out they had accidentally ruptured a vein in his jaw that needed to be repaired. Hope you feel better soon.

If it continues bleeding, go see your dentist. Don't worry yourself sick. It needs fixing but you'll be ok.
