An Invitation for you!

Today, I am sharing some confidential information.
I have been there, I have been depressed and I have recovered... I used to be scared to share my story with people around me, I assumed they would judge me as
'the weird' guy.

Here and now, I am happy and back on track. Although I have never been suicidal, I have been pretty deep down the rabbit hole. Now I feel grateful to be alive and for what life has to offer. There are so many things on my to-do list, some of them are learning a new language, traveling the world and getting my first child.

The purpose of this post is not to give you guys an inspiration sucsess story, but to share some sticky points that worked for me, it does not include any secrets or special fixes but just what worked in my case...

Let's go:

- Always have the courage to share your problem with other people, the problems you expierence might be unique but are ALWAYS relateble...Don't limit your and other people's reality by assuming they won't be able to understand. Sharing things that bother us is a natural tendency and you want to grasp it with both hands.
- Rewire your mind by ACTIVELY THINKING about the positive, this means focussing your attention on the things that carry a positive emotional weight in your life. You can keep a gratitude journal and actively focus on what you like in life (count everything even the smallest things!!)
- Surround yourself by positive people, This might be hard at first because you might be stuck in some negative relationships or feel limited by your surroundings. Realize that people influence each other on a massive scale Sometimes the best thing to do for both you and them is to walk away (yes, this takes massive amounts of courage!)
- READ YOUR WAY TO HAPPINESS, Some books that helped me where books by Eckhart tolle and one that gave me great insights on nutrition, natural supliments and an overal insight of how our brains work is this short read;
'Happy Brain' which you cand find the ebook at amazon.com/dp/B01HC0WKSU
- Go on adventures, take trips and surround yourself by different (positive) people, this will work wonders for you and you can find testemonials on either the internet or youtube.
- Don't use any alcohol, drugs or other forms of ESCAPISM. these things are not going to fix you or bringing you lasting happiness
- Hustle for a purpose in life, a reason to live is one of the best things you can do for your soul and brain to overcome challenges in life.

Hope you will benefit from this and feel free to ask questions.

Very nice post. I read "A New Earth" years ago and it was good. I started reading "The Power Of Now" because I'm going through it. I worry about any and everything including my health. But, I want to get on a journey of not worrying, and not rushing to google to self diagnose which is bad thing. It could make you think you are dying or have some incurable disease when you don't. I just want to get better.

Couldn't agree more. Just be sure to come back down to earth - keep grounded and don't leave those who need your help behind as one seeks the path of bliss. I got a lot out of Eckhart Tolle and others like him. Good steer!

It's really brave of you to share these sort of things with us, and I think it's really awesome that you've come through your struggles with a positive outlook and solid advice to share. I agree with all of the things you shared. It's honestly really encouraging to me that you have such a positive outlook, that inspires me to have a more positive outlook on things too. I guess it's like you said, it's really helpful to interact with positive people. I hope you, and I, and all of us can continue in positivity

This is excellent news! I really like the idea of a gratitude journal. Thanks for sharing that idea, I'll definitely implement that as a gratitude board. What may I ask did you find your purpose in life to be?

I remember one time I was talking to my internal medicine physician about something and he said to me, it sounds
like you are asking me the meaning of life. He then said, when you find the answer to that one, please let me know
as I would to know the answer to that one myself. I used to see a beautiful retina specialst for a few years as I had
a problem with my left eye and it is better now. One time she said to me, let me give you some advice and I said sure.
She then says, spend your money now, as when you are old, no one will notice you.
