Prilosec and SSRI's

Quick question. Is there anyone here that is taking Prilosec (Omeprazole) with an SSRI? I am just wondering if one of these drugs will influence the other when taken together. The doctors told me that I have anxiety and GERD but didn't mention any issue taking the two together. I want to trust the doctors but I'd like to hear from someone who has actually taken both.

I have taken both together and never had an issue. Nor did I see it on the interaction list for the SSRI..... actually now I take an SNRI and Nexium and seems to do fine together.

Thank you for sharing your experience. I figure maybe I'll take them at different times of the day. I'll make sure to let everyone know my experience with it.

Be careful with taking Nexium or Prilosec for long term usage. Talk to your doctor as it can affect your kidneys. I saw this on CNN.
