I've only just now joined the forums. I was quite hasty to join because I really need to get this off my chest. This thought has been going on through my head for a while now, and I feel as though anyone I would try to tell this to wouldn't understand so well.

A thing my family tends to tell me is that it's 'all in my head'. I really kind of want it to be true because that leaves a little bit of hope for me. If it really is all in my head, then does that mean it can fixed? Does that mean every fault I have in my head can legitimately be fixed with a few changes?

That's the big question. It maybe all in your head, or is it? I feel it is important to know which one is it.
There is allot of new research going on right now that is supporting the idea that anxiety can be connected to a gut flora imbalance.
Here is a article that I would recommend everyone with anxiety, check out.
Google... That Gut feeling
It might be the answer for some people. At the very least it is good food for thought.

I had a therapist years ago who told me and everyone else in the group therapy that it's "All in your head."
