12 years boy, constantly checking pant

Hi,
I have a 12 years boy(7th grade). He is having Autism. From the past few months, he constantly checking his pant. The reason he says is, he is checking the distance between the pant and underwear. Even while walking or is in the car, he holds or checks the pant most of the time

Today we went to a movie. In the theater also, most of the time he checks his pant. He is not in relaxed state at all. In the school also, it is disturbing him too much. Teachers also told the same.

What should I do?

What should you do? For sure not to ask advice from bunch of people like us. Rather ask advice from autistic children parents or specialist. This is not good place to seek this kind of advice
