Switching from Cymbalta to Lexapro

Has anyone eve made this switch? If so, how did you do it and how long did it take the Lexapro( escitalopram ) to kick in? Any pointers gratefully received

I never took Cymbalta but I have switched antidepressants before and it usually goes well if I follow my doctor's advice. It usually takes Lexapro 4-8 weeks to reach its full effect. I take Lexapro and it's the best one I've tried so far.

I'm actually in a foreign jail with no medical support so would have to do alone. As long as the Lexapro does not increase anxiety levels in those 4 weeks, I think I can do it
