Hello and good afternoon.
I am scared,confused and lost.
September of 2015 I had my first panic attack and they did not stop. I was put on buspar and when I was on that the panic attacks became more frequent.
My doctor at the time(second after the first who originally gave to me) upped the dosage and they became one on top of each other so I was taken off that. I wasn't doing well panic wise but when December hit I got real bad. I was able to function at least from September to October then in December I got to the point I was always in pain,i cant even clean 1 room in the house now.i lost 12 more pounds on top of all that I had already mysteriously lost in the past year.
I got multiple infections, and had adverse effects to almost every medication given to me.(levequin-antibiotic,klonopin,effexor and a few others.)
as I write this today(its actually the short version) I am not on any,and its getting worse and worse. the doctor feels I need to get all the meds that have been put into me since october out of my system then start from scratch........since September I have been into walk in clinics, the hospital and 3 different doctors over 20 times now.
still getting no where, the therapists have not been much help and psychiatrist wont let me know anything.
I am scared. i skip from swearing i'm dying to thinking i'm losing it to wanting to die in a flash. I work on the skills I have been taught and try to do things I used to love but nothing keeps me going much past 5 minutes.
I feel so very alone and like everytime I am taking one step forward and 10 steps back.
Supposedly I am healthy,i don't understand how. I am considered low normal but just in tsh thyroid wise but still normal.
I am losing weight, losing hair,my whole body hurts all the time. my throat always feels sensitive and swollen or like I have lumps in random places here and there,my head doesn't feel right at times and I am dizzy and have constant head aches. I do have a chronic dental infection(this Friday I am having 5 teeth removed,4 wisdoms and a bad root canal.) people keep saying I will maybe be better kind of after that...who knows.
my tummy always hurts and my chest is either heavy or hurts or this or that. my tummy feels heavy too...yet supposedly I am fine they say. that its just panic disorder with a bad infection.
my right arm and hand always in numb and tingly, headaches galore etc etc etc....I know there are others our there who are going through the the same or worse thank you for being on here and posting I have read many that I could. you are all so very strong and in comparison I am weak.
I keep swearing that I am going to die because the doctors have to be missing something. I would rather that I just have a mental health issue and that's it though.
my body is either having adverse effects or allergic reactions to everything that goes in but my lorazopam,Prilosec and zantac. I never used to be that way,is it really possible just too much has been put in my system? I just don't know.
I need strength and hope. I want to be tough and strong like many of you on here!
I am short of being scared of my own shadow, been trying to get through but failing....I wish I could believe that I only have panic disorder and not something serious....I miss how I was before September...but see what bothers me is before September I had already went from 195 in December 2014 to 134 by june of 2015....by September I was 131...then the panic attacks started...so how? that cant be anxiety related...can it? as I right this today I am 118 pounds...I eat and eat but no weight will gain...that doesn't help my fears. :-( but they say I am fine, though not much tests have been run except what the hospital can do in this tiny town which isn't much...im sorry this is so long ,reassurence? I don't know...I just don't know. :-( I am sorry this is all over the place,i cant think straight..

Hey Jessica,

The multiple infections indicate an impaired immune system, possibly as a result of deficiencies of vitamins and/or minerals, such as vitamin D and its cofactors. See http://www.vitamindwiki.com/Immunity such as:

Infection fighting ability increased with 5,000 IU Vitamin D daily – April 2015, &

Additional 4 ng of vitamin D reduced chance of infection by 7 percent – June 2011, &

Viral infection reduced 90 percent with 2000 IU of vitamin D – Dec 2010, &

Vitamin D protects against many types of health problems – review May 2013.

A previous post about vitamin D may be found at http://anxietyforum.net/forum/showthread.php?34051-Wobbly-eyesight with one about anxiety and panic attacks at http://anxietyforum.net/forum/showthread.php?33197-Do-I-have-anxiety-disorder-or-something-worse&p=220006#post220006

Note that most doctors would regard as acceptable lower levels of vitamin D than those recommended by Dr. John Cannell of the vitamin D council, or Professor Michael Holick, a former member, and an expert in vitamin D.

Read: "Why are doctors reluctant to accept vitamin D", at:
http://www.vitamindwiki.com/Why+are+doctors+reluctant+to+accept+vitamin+D and in particular:
"Would you be opposed to my getting more vitamin D", at:
http://www.vitamindwiki.com/tiki-index.php?page_id=3162

An excellent one page summary about vitamin D may be found at http://www.drfranklipman.com/vitamin-d-faq/ but it lacks info on its cofactors, zinc, boron, vitamin K2, and magnesium.
If supplementing, (the non preferred method, according to www.vitaminDcouncil.org ) use only vitamin D3.

If you also have a sleep disorder, the following may apply: from http://www.vitamindwiki.com/Handout+on+Vitamin+D+%28Hormone+D%29+and+sleep+-+Gominak+2012
"If you have a neurologic problem that is severe enough to see a neurologist, you probably do not heal your body in sleep as perfectly as you once did. Most of us who have headaches, tremor, balance difficulties, vertigo, burning in the feet, depression, body pain, or memory loss have abnormal sleep and, surprisingly, fixing the sleep can fix the neurologic problem". Only you know if the above applies in your case, but you can have your vitamin D levels tested.

Any course of antibiotics should be followed soon after by probiotic yogurt, and preferably also by pickled vegetables, such as sauerkraut, to re-establish beneficial intestinal flora, and prevent harmful ones from flourishing.

Adopt a diet with minimal sugars and / or highly processed grain products, with more non starchy vegetables, protein, some complex carbohydrates, such as legumes, (beans, peas, lentils and chickpeas), nuts, some coconut oil (frying, or general use) and olive oil, (no high temperature frying) and 2 or 3 serves of fruit, as well as probiotic yoghurt; see http://www.google.com/search?q=mercola+probiotic&hl=en&gbv=2&oq=mercola%3B+&gs_l=heirloom-serp.1.5.0l10.600390.608268.0.613200.11.4.0.0.0.0. 1594.2683.5-2j8-1.3.0.msedr...0...1ac.1.34.heirloom-serp..8.3.2682.dGRp4lhiUH0

No fast food or even restaurant food. That's all I have at present, and I can only hope that it helps.
