To me it's sounds like you've given up. Life isn't going to be easy... But you decide what type of life you're going to lead. If you don't want to turn into your parents then use that as motivation to get off your behind and do something. If you're content with sitting behind a gaming system and that being your life, then continue to do what you are doing. In the end, you have to decide when enough is enough.
