I just wanted to share a few good books that helped me through a rough patch a couple years back.

Monkey Mind: A Memoir of Anxiety
http://www.amazon.com/Monkey-Mind-Anxiety-Daniel-Smith/dp/1439177317/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1448941921&sr=8-1&keywords=monkey+mind

A personal account about anxiety, with a good dose a humor. It was one of the few things that at least temporarily eased my anxiety when it was really bad. Easy read.

Loneliness: Learning to Live with Loneliness by Emily White
http://www.amazon.com/Lonely-Learning-Solitude-Emily-White/dp/0061765104/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1448942012&sr=8-1&keywords=emily+white

Another memoir, combined personal narrative with research. An easy read, helpful for understanding your own loneliness, as well as seeing it as part of a bigger cultural phenomenon. Like Monkey Mind, it was just comforting to here about other people's experience and as a result feel less alone/defective.

Hope you enjoy!
