I am scheduled this week to have a cavity restored and very nervous. The novocain shots and the drill both scare me. I always think the Dr is going to nick my tongue and Ill bleed to death or have a permanent speech impediment from that nick moment on. Also 1 time after a novocain shot I felt throat get so narrow that I felt i would not be able to breath and almost passed out before dentist was done treating my cavity. I wish I had a dentist who did everything when I was asleep when it was major procedure like the root canal. That procedure was bad. Now need a white crown or implant on the tooth that had to suffer through the root canal, ughhhh.Cant imagine sitting through the drilling though!!!!!
