Anxiety can most definitely cause a fast heart rate, that is super common.

How fast?

80-90, sometimes above 100... it's been a few days and it's like here ALL the time, but my doc said it went down to 60 when I slept at the hospital

Yep, a fast heart rate is a very common symptom.

80-90 is actually in a range that is considered normal.

Mine would regularly be 90-110.

I know many people that struggle with that symptom badly push the upper 100's, if not 200's.

The fact that your heart rate comes down to 60bpm is a solid indicator that things are good.

I saw your thread and it's an amazing one. It really put my mind to rest to know anxiety causes this. So you basically forgot about it and it disappeared? I do have nearly all the symptoms you mentioned but the heart beat is my main worry.

You are 110% fine. A rate of 60 while you sleep is very good, and an increase of 20 to 30 bpm due to anxiety and being awake is extremely normal.

A resting heart rate of 60 to 100 beats per minute is considered normal for an adult.

Did your anxiety heartbeat start suddenly, do you like know 'this is when it began'?
