Hey guys!
So I just joined this site and I thought I'd quickly introduce myself so it's easier for me to find people to talk with 😊
My name is Sue, I'm 20 years old and I've been suffering from anxiety and major panic attacks for 3 years now. Short story, I got bullied for 6 years and violence which led to anorexia and me being super self conscious and somehow after I managed to gain self confidence my brain decided to give me anxiety on top of it haha.
My anxiety was really bad last year, I had panic attacks every single night and I was too scared to go to public places in fear of people seeing me having one and making fun of me. Eventually went to rehab for a couple months and it's gotten a bit better for a while and now it's getting worse again 😔 I hate that you can't control anything at all.
The only thing that helps me is doing creative stuff just like my youtube videos, music etc... It's funny because lots of people would never think I have those attacks but I'm just really good at hiding emotions or just simply finding a place to be alone as long as I feel like crap.
I'm so glad I found this forum. Hope you all are havig a good anxiety free day!

Welcome Sue!

Six years of bullying can really impact a person psychologically.

And some people say that the words bullies tell you can't hurt you. They're wrong.

I'm sorry you were bullied and were the victim of violence, Sue. I hope that this forum can help you.

They're most definitely wrong. I remember back when I was in high school, I had a lot of people tell me I was an ugly type of guy and that I was a nuisance and that I should just rid of myself for good and man those words got to me, but here I am still and standing taller than ever!
