Zoloft side effects

I was just put on it. Been taking for four days. Feel very jittery, hot and cold flashes and my urine has been very dark . it almost burns to pee. Plus I've lost 10 pounds in the four days. Keep in mind that my anxiety has had me pacing alot . is this normal in the beginning?

Forgot to add its taken away my appetite. I've eaten almost nothing in 3 days. Two days ago I had a microwave pizza and yesterday had burger and fries just to force myself to eat. Yes I know, not good food choices. I have been drinking more water but not a ton. I should mention this is really the first sSSRI or whatever iv ever been . started me at 50mg

Was my idea to try it due to getting agitated easily

I would say this is all pretty normal. Four days is still very early in to treatment.

If your appetite hasn't picked up in a couple of days, just try to eat simple foods instead like yoghurt, fruit and milk drinks.

Yeah this stuff sends your anxiety through the roof initially.

It improves after a week or two. Hang in there :)

My Dr took me off it due to chills. Could be messing with my liver. Was diagnosed with fatty liver a couple years ago. Although you would think he would have considered that before giving to me :rolleyes:

Side effects from going off after just 4 days or no?
