I have to admit that after reading so many posts from you young folks and your video games, I sure am glad I had to play outside as a kid since there were no video games
Those things seem addicting.
Since you went through a hard way whilst the video games were high on your list, you have trained your big ol brain to associate video games with feeling anxious. Everyone develops their own personal triggers and your brain has decided video games is yours
Just as you trained your mind to feel anxious because of those games, you can untrain, or retrain, if you will, your mind just as easy
You should just start playing them again. When you feel happy, jump on that console and do what it is you all do on them. You will move past the ill feelings
Don't be hopeless. This is only a temporary bump in the road. You can easily get past anxiety issues. Just take's a bit of focus on healing versus focusing on the negative feelings
