zopiclone

Taking 7.5 mg of zopiclone for over 1 month now for sleep and I have tapered back to 3.75mg for the last week, anxiety has increased , unable to sit still. Please advise as how to deal with all the withdrawal symptons. GP is not very helpful.

Till how that I know , the Zopiclone is a medication for a short range and feel the best impact in the beginning .
howover I recommend you call to the phsycian for a new assessment (maybe try take a new medication of long range[ seems that you need mediation with more effect for the sleeping disorder ) , but basically it realy sounds like a side effect
meanwhile you can be calm !
