I was on Celexa for three years before deciding to go off them cold turkey (don't recommend it as the withdrawal symptoms are hell). I haven't taken the medication in a year and a half and I just got a new Celexa prescription today. When I first started the medication, I had no side effects so I'm wondering if I'll end up with side effects this time around despite the physician's assistant (who prescribed the pills) telling me that I should not have any sort of side effects this time either if I didn't have them the first time around. I stupidly researched it and found horror stories of people going off it and then starting it again with terrible side effects. Needless to say, it makes me nervous about taking them again.
