The Fake People on this Forum are Really Annoying Me!

Have any of you guys noticed how many fake robots are using this forum now? Take a look at the "Who's Online" section and you'll see them all. They're all viewing the same thread, and they all have a name followed by three letters. I get notifications that they're online, too, which is annoying.

There are usually a dozen of them online at any one time, and sometimes they switch over, and new ones come online. They never post, never visit anyone's profile, and all of their bios have been written in the same way.

It's 3:30am here, and I've woken up early. I'm trying to see who's on so I can chat to them. Yet, all I see is a bunch of fake people. Oh, and Brooke. Brooke's always online.

How lame is it though that this forum needs to bump up its numbers to look busy? All of this automatic traffic is ridiculous. Just let the forum be, let it carry on naturally for crying out loud!

I never really noticed them as bots until you pointed it out.

I haven't been to a website where they aren't present for as long as I remember though, so I guess I'm kinda desensitized to it.

Morally I take slight issue with it, but as long as they aren't junking up the place I can find my peace.

I would hate it if I got notifications from them though. I'm sorry you have to suffer through that. It sounds worse than anxiety.

I use the app 9 times out of 10 and that keeps my notices pretty minimal.

Some one just messaged me saying you can turn notifications off. I'm calmer now. I'm making peace with the fakes. :)

They used to log out because of inactivity, then log back in straight after. When you have 12 doing this all day, it gets real old.
