I'm new here and have been struggling with panic disorder for the past two or so years. I'm also an aspiring theater artist, LGBT rights activist, and do work with several activist organizations. I currently attend university to finish my degree in theater and I'm planning on heading home and fighting the good fight by day and being an actress by night.

Nice to meet you all!!!

Welcome to the forum

An aspiring actress. Very cool

When you get famous, can I tell people I knew you when you were all anxious?

I like to name drop

I see Nixon's already been here and welcomed you. Wow, this guy has a big heart.

I guess we're all just like a family here, ya know? We've all had that anxiety, we've all experienced weakness - we want to just give out love to other sufferers whenever we can.

So, although I'm second, welcome. :)

It's awesome you're an actress. Seriously! I wanted to do some drama, but my stage fright was terrible. Much respect for sticking at it and following your dream.

And how strange is it that you're an LGBT activist. I've just finished speaking to my friend Jenny who's also an activist. She was part of the "YES!" campaign in Ireland. A massive success, right?

Anyway, it's really nice to meet you. I hope you stick around. Maybe we can talk more about video games sometime!

That's so awesome!!! One of my guy friends was actually counting ballots for the campaign. He was really happy about the results. He can get married now, lol.

The way I see it, all good theater is anxiety. In all scenes, at least one character does not want the scene to happen. The trick is to use it during those points and work with it, and live truthfully by personalizing those given circumstances to our own.

Thanks for welcoming me guys!!!

Welcome. It sounds like your doing a lot with your life despite the panic disorder problem, and it sounds like you have a lot of healthy goals, Tia.

Again, welcome!
