Citlopram & Alcohol

I have been on 20mg per day for exactly 2 weeks, and was wondering if having 1-2 pints tonight would be ok?

I haven't suffered any side effects without alcohol, so I thought I should be ok with a moderate amount of alcohol.

I actually have a doctors appointment tomorrow at 3pm Aswell, so il ask then too...But ideally I need to make a decision for tonight?

Only one way to find out, isn't there, and that's to go drink 1-2 pints.

The stock answer here is that it isn't really recommended as alcohol is a depressant and can worsen the med's side effects. That being said, even the NHS leave it up to patient discretion.

Personally, I drank when taking it, but only moderately, and only on occasion.
